Where and how to place it
Mounted between 1.60 and 1.70 m above the floor, the wall light remains at eye level: its light dresses the wall without dazzling you.
We rule out models that underperform once mounted on the wall: light that is too cold, poorly defined halos, and finishes that disappoint up close.

Ask a questionIn a hallway or on a staircase, choose a slim model that projects about ten centimeters from the wall so it doesn't get in the way. Above a bed or a sofa, a wall light 15 to 30 cm wide is enough. To frame a mirror or a console table, install two identical wall lights on either side.
In a living room, hallway, or dining room, place the center of the wall light between 1.60 m and 1.80 m above the floor. Next to a bed, set it between 1.20 m and 1.40 m above the floor for comfortable reading.
2700 K for a living room or bedroom: a warm light, similar to a filament bulb. 3000 to 4000 K for a kitchen, office, or bathroom, where you need to see clearly. Above 5000 K, the light becomes cool and bluish.
The socket type (E27, E14, G9, GU10 or integrated LED) is specified on each product page. Unless otherwise stated, bulbs are not included; integrated LED models do not require one.
