Next to a bed, allow between 1.20 m and 1.40 m above the floor for comfortable reading. On a staircase, keep approximately 1.80 m above the steps and follow the incline.

Near the shower or bathtub, choose a model with at least an IP44 rating: it is resistant to splashing water. Above or on either side of the mirror, a neutral light (3000 to 4000 K) illuminates the face without creating shadows. Check the IP rating in the product description.

2700 K for a living room or bedroom: a warm light, similar to the old incandescent bulb. 3000 to 4000 K for a kitchen, office, or bathroom, where you need to see clearly. Above 5000 K, the light becomes cool and bluish, best suited for utility spaces.
