A gold metal frame holds it in place, and a wooden handle crowns the design.

Measuring 22 cm wide and 41 cm high, it stands against the wall like a statement piece.

Technical specifications

Dimensions: 22 cm wide, 41 cm high

Materials: metal, glass and wood

Body: metal

Shade: green-tinted ribbed glass

Colors: gold, green, walnut color

Mounting: hardwired

Socket: E26 or E27

Bulb: 40 W incandescent or LED equivalent, not included

Dimming: compatible with a dimmer switch, not included

Where to install this wall light?

Its 41 cm height requires an unobstructed wall: a space between two windows, a wide hallway, or an office wall. The wooden handle and dark green shade pair well with antique furniture or existing wood paneling.

General installation rule: for a tall, narrow model, fix the mounting plate at approximately 1.40 m above the floor. The glass will then be at shoulder height and illuminate the wall without glaring directly at you.

Material, finish and care

Three materials come together: the gold metal frame, the ribbed green glass and the wooden handle. The ribs trap dust, which is easier to remove with a dry brush than with a cloth. On the gold finish, avoid any abrasive products that would strip it.

Bulb and installation

An E26 or E27 screw-in bulb is required, not supplied, with a maximum of 40 W for incandescent bulbs. As the glass is tinted and ribbed, the type of filament matters little. The light is hardwired and requires a cable outlet to be installed before mounting.

Frequently asked questions

Does the green glass significantly darken the light?

The tinted glass absorbs some of the light output and creates a more intimate glow, with green reflections on the wall. For reading light, provide an additional light source. For an evening ambiance, this is precisely the effect you are looking for.

What is the wooden handle for?

It is part of the light's design and extends the frame upwards, reminiscent of old lanterns. The manufacturer's information does not present it as a functional element: do not use it to move the light once it is fixed.

Is Felman suitable for an office?

Yes, provided it is used as supplementary wall lighting. Its 41 cm height complements the wall behind a work surface, but the tinted light cannot replace a directional desk lamp for working on documents for extended periods.

How to clean the ribs in the glass?

A soft-bristled brush, such as a dusting brush, follows the grooves without leaving lint behind. Finish with a dry microfiber cloth, wiping down the ribs. If a mark persists, barely dampen the cloth and dry immediately, with the bulb turned off and cool.

Learn more

Discover the tinted glass in our collection of wall lights.
