The single-light version can be repeated along a hallway or frame a bed as a pair. The double-light version stands alone on a wider wall, above an entryway console or dining room sideboard, and covers the 15 to 25 m2 specified by the manufacturer.

General installation rule: in a hallway, space the single-light fixtures 2 to 2.5 m apart at a height of 1.80 m from the floor; for a double-light fixture above a piece of furniture, center it over the furniture at a height of 40 or 50 cm above the top.

Material, finish, and care

Black, copper, and chrome finishes dramatically change the relationship between metal and glass: chrome reflects light and almost disappears, copper gives it a warm tone, and black highlights the outline of the shades. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; on chrome, wipe without turning to avoid leaving visible circles.

Bulb and installation

Allow for one E27 bulb per light, not included: two for the double-light version. The manufacturer accepts LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs and does not specify the maximum allowed wattage. Buy two identical bulbs for the double-light version, otherwise the difference in color will be immediately noticeable side by side.

Frequently asked questions

One light or two: how to choose?

Consider the width of the wall and the number of light sources desired. Two lights on a single backplate create a wider wall light that fills the space above a piece of furniture. A single light allows you to multiply the fixtures along a walkway, with one cable outlet per unit.

How many bulbs should you plan for?

One per light: one for the single-light version, two for the double-light version. All use an E27 socket and none are supplied with the luminaire. Choose the same model and color for the double-light version, as two slightly different shades of white will stand out on a common backplate.

Is it dimmable?

The manufacturer states that this model is not dimmable. A wall dimmer should therefore be avoided. If you need adjustable lighting, the color and wattage of the E27 bulb are the only settings, which must be decided once at the time of purchase.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The stated rating is IP 20, with no protection against water: this model is intended for dry interiors, hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces. For a bathroom, choose a luminaire for which the manufacturer publishes a protection rating suitable for the intended zone.

For more

Browse our selection of wall lights to compare configurations.
