A wall between two windows, the side of a fireplace or a return wall in a bedroom will provide the height it needs.

General installation rule: position the top of the corolla about 1.80 m above the floor so that the flower is revealed at eye level rather than above head height.

Material, finish and care

Hand-blown glass is never identical: shades, thicknesses and any bubbles vary from one piece to another, including the pink gradient. Dust the corolla with a soft brush and the wood dry in the direction of the grain, without water or greasy products.

Bulb and installation

A screw-in E26 or E27 bulb, not supplied, with a 40 W incandescent or LED equivalent. E27 is the standard socket in France. The wiring is fixed: the wall light connects directly to a cable outlet without a cord or socket and cannot be moved afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Matcha green or pink gradient?

These are the two versions available to order. Matcha green is a soft, muted shade that pairs well with light wood and off-white walls. The pink gradient varies from pale to more intense on the same corolla and draws more attention in a simple room.

What does fixed wiring mean?

The wall light has no cord or plug: its wires connect to a cable outlet recessed in the wall. This means that power must be provided at the exact chosen location, which must be planned before installation. This type of connection should be carried out by an electrician, not simply plugged in.

Should the bulb be frosted?

With an open glass corolla, a clear bulb is visible and can cause glare depending on the angle. Choose a frosted E27 LED equivalent to the stated 40 W, approximately 5 W. In warm white, it complements both the matcha green and the pink, whereas cool light would make them look harsher.

Will two Bellora wall lights match?

No. Hand-blowing means that two corollas will differ in shape and shade, even within the same version. Displayed as a pair, they will share the same height of 39 cm and the same wood and metal frame, but the design of their glass will not be exactly the same.

Discover more

Explore the shaped glass in our wall light catalogue.
