This is ideal in a living room, where you want soft lighting rather than a sharp beam.

General installation rule: 1.60 m above the floor for ambient living room lighting, 1.30 m above the headboard with the arm pointing downwards. The IP20 rating requires installation in a dry room.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The four finishes create different atmospheres: black remains contemporary, brass adds warmth, while silver and chrome lean towards a cooler look. The glass should be cleaned with a slightly damp microfiber cloth while the bulb is cool; chrome and silver show fingerprints.

Bulb and installation

E26/E27 socket, bulb not included. In a clear glass cone, the choice of bulb is visible: a filament LED enhances the look, while an opal LED reduces glare. The light is supplied via a cable connected to a fixed outlet, which should be installed before mounting the light.

Frequently asked questions

Clear or frosted glass—which one will I receive?

The manufacturer states that the glass may be clear or frosted depending on the versions shown. Refer to the images of the selected model before ordering. Frosted glass diffuses light more softly; clear glass reveals the bulb and its style.

Which finish is best for a warm interior?

Brass, without hesitation: its amber reflection warms the light reflected by the cone. Silver and chrome create a cooler look, suited to contemporary interiors. Black bridges the two styles and pairs with almost any wall.

Can the arm support a glass shade?

Yes, the adjustable arm is designed to support this weight, but adjust it carefully: glass is more fragile than metal, and a sudden movement near the wall could chip it. Set the orientation once, then only adjust it if the lighting needs change.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The stated rating is IP20, meaning it has no protection against water splashes. Reserve this model for the living room, bedroom, office, or hallway. For a bathroom, choose a wall light rated at least IP44, which is the only rating compatible with occasional water splashes.

Discover more

Browse glass shades in our wall light catalog.
