In pairs, it frames an entrance door or a bed. Its small diameter makes it practical in a passageway.

General installation rule: center the column at about 1.30 m from the floor, so that the meter of glass extends on either side of eye level rather than entirely above it.

Material, finish and maintenance

White glass and white metal require the same care: a dry microfiber cloth, changed often, as a light-colored, tall surface catches dust along its entire length. Wait for it to cool completely before touching it, and do not use any solvents.

Bulb and installation

The socket is a G9 pin socket, bulb not included, LED or filament. Regarding the connection, the manufacturer's data are contradictory: the product sheet indicates fixed wiring, while the references are available in different plug types. Our customer service can clarify this for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is Equinox hardwired or plugged in?

The manufacturer's information is conflicting on this point. The technical sheet mentions fixed wiring, while the four available references are distinguished by the type of plug: European, British, American, or Australian. Ask our customer service before ordering if this detail affects your installation.

What G9 bulb should I choose for this size?

Choose a G9 pin bulb designed for 230 V mains power, LED or filament. As the tube is only 8 cm in diameter, prefer a short bulb body that fits without touching the glass wall. The light source is not included and should be installed before mounting the light to the wall.

Do you need a particular wall for a 100 cm column?

Height matters more than strength: allow for a clear one-meter section, without a high skirting board or a switch in the middle. The fixture itself is mounted on a standard mounting plate, which can be adapted to the nature of the surface: plasterboard, brick, or concrete.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer states an IP 20 rating, with no waterproofing, and for indoor use only. A mention of compatibility with damp environments appears in its data, but without a corresponding numerical rating: it is therefore not sufficient. Reserve Equinox for dry rooms.

For more

Vertical formats are available in our wall light collection.
