Travertine is sensitive to prolonged moisture and acidic products: use only a dry cloth and a soft brush in the hollow of the wave where dust settles.

Bulb and installation

Ritta takes a G9 bulb, not supplied, with a maximum of 7 W incandescent or LED equivalent. The manufacturer states a voltage range of 110 to 240 V, which covers the French electrical grid. The wall light is hardwired and requires a cable outlet.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose between model A and model B?

Model A is 21 cm wide and 20 cm high, while model B is 30 cm wide and 18 cm high. The former is suitable for narrow walls, the latter for horizontal arrangements above a bed or sideboard. The electrical specifications are identical.

Does Ritta work on the French electrical grid?

Yes. The manufacturer states a range of 110 to 240 V, and the French domestic 230 V supply falls within this range. No transformer is mentioned. Connection is made to a fixed cable outlet by an electrician if your wall does not already have one.

What does the manufacturer's stated compliance mean?

The manufacturer states that the products comply with the standards in force in North America, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. This statement concerns the electrical safety regulations of the targeted market. However, it does not specify any protection rating against water or dust.

Does the wavy shape make installation more difficult?

No, the mounting remains a standard wall plate, hardwired. Simply check the direction of the wave before drilling: depending on the chosen orientation, the light will cast more upwards or downwards, and the effect on the wall will change significantly.

Discover more

Explore the sculptural shapes in our wall light catalogue.
