Anka is used like a line drawn on the wall: along a hallway, against a jamb. The 55 cm version remains visible in a bedroom or near a mirror.

General installation rule: center the 55 cm version about 1.40 m from the floor at the head of the bed; for the 90 cm, leave 60 to 80 cm between the floor and the base of the column. Since the light is indirect, leave some space around the stone.

Material, finish and maintenance

Travertine is raw and porous: its hollows are visible and unique to each column. The base is solid wood, light or dark. Dust the stone dry and the wood with a soft cloth. Water and detergents mark the pores.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated, advertised for approximately 50,000 hours in 3000 K warm white: no bulb to provide. Dimming requires an external dimmer, not included. The power supply ranges from 110 to 240 V and the wiring is integrated: the wire outlet is prepared before installation.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose Anka in 55 or 90 cm?

The 55 cm fits standard heights: headboard, hallway wall, side of a mirror. The 90 cm requires a high ceiling and a free wall, where it acts as an almost architectural line. Both maintain the thickness of 2.5 cm, therefore the same discretion.

What is an indirect halo?

The LED is not visible from the front: it illuminates the wall and the edge of the stone, and it is this reflection that lights the room. The result is soft, without a light point in the field of vision, and reveals the texture of the plaster.

Which dimmer to lower the light?

The sheet announces compatibility, but an external dimmer is required and is not included. Choose a model designed for low-power LED loads and have the combination checked by an electrician. Since the source is integrated, a bad choice cannot be corrected.

Can Anka border a bathroom mirror?

The manufacturer claims wet area compatibility and cites covered patios, but does not give a numerical IP rating. Without this value, install it on a wall away from the shower and bathtub, then have the connection validated by an electrician according to the area concerned.

To go further

Discover the other stones in our wall light collection.
