Mounted vertically, two double Nemis frame a mirror on either side. The single version is suitable for a hallway or beside a bed.

General installation rule: the centre of the globes should be approximately 1.70 to 1.80 m above the floor on either side of a mirror. In bathrooms, as the IP rating is not specified, have an electrician confirm the installation area.

Material, finish and care

The body is made of natural travertine, a stone with visible pores. The accents are made of solid wood. The globes are made of opal glass, which diffuses light without revealing the bulb. Wipe the travertine with a dry or barely damp cloth, avoiding acidic products such as vinegar.

Bulb and installation

Each globe takes a maximum 7 W G9 bulb, not included: one for the single, two for the double, three for the triple. A warm white G9 LED is well suited to opal glass. The light connects to a fixed cable outlet.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nemi suitable for a bathroom?

The manufacturer states that it is suitable for wet areas, but the IP rating is not specified. In France, installation in a bathroom depends on the volumes defined by the NF C 15-100 standard. Without a confirmed IP rating, install Nemi outside volumes 1 and 2, for example above a mirror away from the shower.

Which version of Nemi should I choose above a mirror?

For a single row above a mirror measuring 60 to 80 cm, the 48 cm triple version mounted horizontally is the most suitable. For side lighting, which is more flattering to the face, use two double versions mounted vertically on either side of the mirror.

Which bulbs do I need for Nemi?

G9 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 7 W, one per globe. They are not included. 2 to 4 W G9 LEDs in 2700 or 3000 K provide warm light and run cool, which helps preserve the stone and opal glass over time.

Can Nemi be ceiling mounted?

Yes. The manufacturer provides for wall or ceiling mounting, vertically or horizontally. Mounted to the ceiling, the triple version aligns its three globes above a dressing table or narrow hallway. The electrical wiring is integrated, with a fixed cable outlet.

For more options

Other options can be found in our selection of wall lights.
