At 16.5 cm high, Solaro fits under a shelf.

General installation rule: above a mirror, mount it at approximately 1.90 m to 2 m from the floor so that the beams shine down onto the vanity top. In covered outdoor areas, choose a location sheltered from direct rain.

Material, finish and care

Travertine is a porous natural stone: surface holes and cracks are part of its appearance and do not affect its strength. Dust dry and avoid acidic products, which damage limestone. The walnut base should be treated like indoor wood.

Bulb and installation

Each head takes an E26 or E27 bulb, not included, 40 W incandescent or LED equivalent: two bulbs for the short version, three for the long. The power supply accepts 110 to 240 V and the connection is hardwired. In a wet room, hire an electrician to carry out the connection.

Frequently asked questions

Can Solaro be used in a bathroom?

The manufacturer states that it is moisture-resistant and suitable for use in bathrooms or covered outdoor areas, but does not provide an IP rating. Therefore, have an electrician approve the location based on the distance from the water source, and read the instructions before installing the light in a splash zone.

Should I choose two or three heads?

The 2-head version measures 35 cm and is suitable for a standard mirror or a short section of wall. The 3-head version reaches 53.5 cm and is ideal for a large mirror, a long hallway, or above a wide low cabinet. Both versions are 16.5 cm high.

Are the holes in the travertine a defect?

No. The manufacturer states that the surface of the travertine features holes and cracks characteristic of this natural stone, which do not affect its durability or overall appearance. Two lights will therefore never have exactly the same stone pattern, even in the same color.

How many bulbs should I plan for?

One per head: two for the 35 cm version, three for the 53.5 cm version. All with E26 or E27 sockets, 40 W incandescent or LED equivalent, not included. Use identical bulbs so that adjacent beams maintain the same color and intensity.

For more options

Compare materials in our wall light collection.
