Its low silhouette lets the wall breathe and is suitable for rooms where you do not want a protruding object. The wood and stone duo matches light interiors.

General installation rule: aim for 1.60 m to 1.70 m from the floor for a circulation wall, and 1.20 m to 1.30 m above a bed or low piece of furniture. With a 20 cm footprint, two units distribute well on a 3 m wall.

Material, finish and maintenance

The travertine features holes and cracks on the surface that the manufacturer states are characteristics of this stone, with no impact on its durability or overall appearance. The wood requires simple dry dusting. On the stone, avoid water and household products, which seep into the pores.

Bulb and installation

Cylinder takes an E26 or E27 5 W incandescent bulb, or its LED equivalent, not included. As this screw base is wide, check the diameter of the chosen bulb against the 14 cm high body. The wiring is direct and assumes a cable outlet in the wall.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the wood shade and the walnut shade?

The wood color remains light and leans towards blonde, close to oak or beech. The walnut is significantly darker and contrasts with the light travertine. The dimensions, the stone and the E27 socket do not change: only the shade of the frame differs.

Can you order Cylinder in pairs?

Yes, the model exists individually and in a pack of two, in the two wood shades. The pack is intended for opposite installations, on either side of a bed or a door. Each unit requires its own cable supply, to be planned before ordering.

What E27 bulb is suitable for this model?

An E27 5 W incandescent or an LED with comparable flux. As the body is short, avoid large decorative filament bulbs: measure the available space before purchase. A warm white LED matches the beige stone and wood better than cool shades.

Are two Cylinder wall lights identical?

The frame, yes; the stone, no. The travertine is cut from blocks whose veining and porosities vary. Placed side by side, two wall lights will have the same shape and wood shade, but a different stone pattern.

To go further

Discover all the wall lights in the catalog.
