The stone diffuses the light and takes on a slightly golden hue once lit.

Two combinations are available: walnut and beige or light wood and beige. The manufacturer states that the model can also be used as a ceiling spotlight.

Technical specifications

Dimensions: 6.5 cm diameter, 16 cm height

Light body: travertine

Base: wood

Finishes: walnut and beige, or wood and beige

Socket: E26 or E27

Bulb: not included

Installation: wall-mounted or as a ceiling spotlight

Where to install this wall light?

With a diameter of 6.5 cm, Arvararae takes up very little wall space. It is therefore easy to multiply: two units on either side of a bed, or three lined up along a hallway. Its short body mainly illuminates the area nearby, providing accent lighting rather than general lighting for the room.

General installation rule: for a horizontal alignment, allow approximately 1.80 m from the floor and 60 to 80 cm between two wall lights. When mounted on the ceiling, direct it towards a textured wall or a bookcase.

Material, finish and maintenance

Travertine is a porous limestone, pitted with small cavities: its pattern varies from one block to another, and the piece received will not exactly reproduce the photos. The base is made of wood, in walnut or light wood finish. Wipe the stone with a dry cloth and keep it away from acidic products.

Bulb and installation

The socket accepts E26 or E27 bulbs, which are not supplied. As the body is short, a compact E27 LED fits better than a large decorative bulb. The wall light connects to a cable outlet in the wall or ceiling: reserve its location before painting.

Frequently asked questions

Which E27 bulb to choose for Arvararae?

A low-profile E27 LED, in a flame or compact spherical shape, will fit better than a large decorative bulb: the travertine body measures 16 cm high by only 6.5 cm in diameter. Bulbs are not supplied. The socket accepts either an E26 or E27 base.

Can Arvararae be fixed to the ceiling?

Yes, the manufacturer states that this model can also be used as a ceiling spotlight. In this position, the travertine cylinder hangs slightly from the ceiling and directs its light downwards, which works above a worktop or along a stone wall. The electrical connection remains the same.

Are the travertine patterns identical from one wall light to another?

No. The manufacturer states that the travertine patterns vary from product to product and that the delivered piece may differ from the images. If you install several side by side, they will share the same shape and general hue, but each stone will retain its own pitting and veining.

What is the difference between the two finishes offered?

The two versions share the same beige travertine body. Only the base changes color: walnut, which is darker and more reddish, or light wood, which is more neutral. This base remains visible against the wall, so it is best to match its color to the woodwork and furniture already in place.

To go further

Browse our selection of wall lights.
