The wall light is hardwired. In a bathroom, electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician: the position of the power supply relative to the shower or bathtub is subject to regulations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the IP rating of this model?

The manufacturer states that the model is certified for use in wet environments and is suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces, but does not provide a numerical IP rating. Check the instructions before installing it near a water source, as regulations are based on distances and ratings.

Can It Be Installed Under an Outdoor Porch?

The manufacturer mentions covered outdoor spaces, which includes porches, awnings, and sheltered terraces. Direct exposure to rain is not covered by this wording. In the absence of a numerical IP rating, keep the light under clear cover.

Can Travertine Withstand Bathroom Moisture?

The manufacturer states that the model is suitable for this use. However, the stone remains porous: wipe it after long showers and avoid acidic products, such as limescale removers, which damage travertine much faster than surrounding tiles.

At What Height Should It Be Installed Around a Washbasin Mirror?

As a general rule, place the lights at eye level, approximately 1.65 m above the floor, on either side of the mirror rather than above it. This arrangement eliminates shadows under the eyes. The compact 10 cm width of this model makes it particularly suitable for this.

Learn More

Compare bathroom models in our wall light catalog.
