Mounted in pairs on either side of the bed, it frees up the bedside shelves. Its fabric lampshade diffuses a soft light, ideal for evening reading.

General installation rule: at the head of the bed, position the centre of the wall light between 1.20 and 1.40 m above the floor, or about 30 cm above the mattress.

Material, finish and care

The body is made of walnut-coloured wood, with metal completing the structure in a gold finish. Dust the beige fabric lampshade with a soft brush, without water. For the wood, a barely damp cloth is sufficient; wipe dry immediately.

Bulb and installation

The socket is listed as E26 or E27, with E27 being the standard screw socket in Europe. It takes a 40 W incandescent bulb or equivalent LED, not included. The wall light is hardwired and accepts a dimmer, not included.

Frequently asked questions

Which bulb should I buy for this wall light?

Choose an E27 screw-in LED bulb with a brightness equivalent to a 40 W incandescent bulb. It is not included. If you plan to use a dimmer, choose an LED explicitly stated as dimmable by its manufacturer: not all are, and a non-dimmable LED will flicker or hum on a dimmer.

Can it be connected to a dimmer?

Yes, the manufacturer states that it is compatible with dimmers, which are not included. The dimmer is placed on the circuit, replacing the wall switch. Installation should be carried out by an electrician if the wall does not already have one. Pair it with a dimmable bulb for a smooth light transition.

Is it suitable for reading in bed?

Yes. The fabric lampshade softens the beam and prevents direct glare, making it comfortable bedside lighting. At just 18 cm wide, it can be placed close to the shoulder to illuminate the pages without disturbing the person lying next to it. A dimmer allows you to adjust the light level throughout the evening.

Is there a version for the bathroom?

The manufacturer's data does not mention a numerical IP rating for this model. In the absence of a stated IP rating, keep Noyer in dry rooms: bedrooms, hallways, studies or living rooms. For wall lighting around a bathroom mirror, choose a model with a stated IP rating.

For more

Wood and textiles can also be found in our wall light catalogue.
