Depending on the model, the 20 to 25 cm projection brings the light away from the wall and positions it above shoulder height.

General installation rule: at the bedside, place the mounting point about 1.35 to 1.50 m above the floor, high enough so that the lampshade does not get in the way when you sit down.

Material, Finish and Care

Dust the lampshade fabric with a feather duster or soft brush; never use a damp sponge. The body combines metal, wood and glass: a dry cloth is suitable for all three.

Bulb and Installation

The socket depends on the size: E14 on Model A, E27 on Models B to E, also listed as E26. The bulb is not included. The wiring is fixed: the wall lamp connects to a cable outlet, and the manufacturer also indicates that a pull-cord control is possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which of the Five Sizes Should I Choose?

Model A, 29 cm high and narrow, is installed on a vertical wall. Models B and C, 25 cm wide, illuminate a larger area. Models D and E, 18 and 15 cm high, fit under a shelf or in a low hallway.

Which Bulb Should I Choose for Each Model?

Model A takes a small E14 screw base. The four others take an E27 bulb, listed as E26 in North American nomenclature. Therefore, choose the bulb after deciding on the size, not the other way around. In both cases, the light source is not included with the fixture.

What Does the Pull-Cord Switch Offer?

The manufacturer states that the model accepts a pull-cord control in addition to the wall switch. A pull cord allows you to turn off the light from bed without getting up, which is practical at the bedside. The connection remains fixed in both cases: the wiring must be run to the wall lamp.

Does White Fabric Get Dirty Quickly?

A light-colored lampshade collects dust like any other; it simply shows it more. Brushing it gently two or three times a year is enough to keep it clean. Avoid water and stain removers, which mark the fabric and leave a more visible trace than dust.

Learn More

Browse our textile and natural materials in our selection of wall lamps.
