The manufacturer also recommends it for a study. A single sphere is sufficient above a reading chair; arranged in a row of three, they brighten a narrow hallway wall.

The cable is not adjustable, so the electrical outlet determines the placement. As a general rule for installation, position it above a chair at a height of 1.50 to 1.60 m from the floor and slightly to the side, so that the sphere illuminates the book rather than the face.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The polyethylene globe provides a soft, diffused light without any visible hot spots. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth, without solvents or abrasive powders. The bright colors—pink, yellow, and red—tint the light slightly when turned on; white remains neutral, while black only allows light to pass through the front opening.

Bulb and installation

One G9 LED bulb is included per wall light. The G9 is a very common two-pin socket: replacements are easily available in both warm and neutral white. The wall light operates at 110 to 240 V, and assembly is required during installation. The manufacturer does not offer dimming or smart controls.

Frequently asked questions

Which G9 bulb should I use as a replacement?

A low-wattage warm-white G9 LED is suitable for a reading nook. The globe is made of polyethylene, so avoid halogen bulbs, which generate more heat. The original bulb is included with the wall light, so a replacement will only be needed after several years of use.

Which color should I choose for a child's bedroom?

Yellow and pink stand out from a distance and serve as decorative objects in their own right. White blends into a light-colored wall and provides completely neutral light. Red is the most striking of the five colors. The color is fixed at the time of purchase and cannot be changed later.

Is Vivi suitable for a bathroom?

No. It has an IP20 rating, and the manufacturer states it is strictly for indoor use, with no mention of damp areas. This rating does not cover any water splashes. Keep Vivi in the bedroom, living room, or study—the three rooms listed in its technical specifications.

How many spheres are needed for a living room wall?

According to the manufacturer, each wall light covers 3 to 5 m². On a living room wall, two or three Vivi lights spaced evenly will provide better illumination than a single one. Remember that each requires its own cable outlet: since the cable is not adjustable, each mounting point must have its own power supply.

Discover more

Explore the colorful models in our range of wall lights.
