Its soft glow makes it an accent light rather than a main light: it punctuates an entrance, adds rhythm to a hallway, or frames a sofa in a pair. Place it where you want a soft glow.

General installation rule, to be used as such: center the sphere at around 1.60 m from the floor in a walkway, slightly lower on either side of a piece of furniture or a bed. Leave 20 cm of clear wall around the base.

Material, finish and maintenance

Spanish alabaster is a soft, veined stone: no two spheres ever have the same pattern. Clean it with a dry cloth, without water or products. Solid brass develops a patina slowly and retains its golden hue; a soft cloth is enough to restore its shine, without abrasive creams.

Bulb and installation

The G9 LED bulb is supplied, so no initial purchase is required. The connection is wired and fixed: plan for a cable outlet at the mounting point and the intervention of an electrician. The power supply accepts 90 to 260 V, so the model is suitable for the French domestic electrical network.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a bulb for Anthas?

No. The manufacturer supplies the wall light with its G9 LED bulb already fitted. The intensity is fixed: the model is not designed for a dimmer. If you replace the light source one day, choose another low-power warm white G9 LED to maintain the soft glow that highlights the stone.

How much light does this wall light produce?

The manufacturer states 60 to 249 lumens, which is accent lighting. It is an ambient light, useful for highlighting a wall or marking a passage, not for lighting an entire room. Pair it with other light sources if you are looking for task or reading light in the same space.

Is Anthas suitable for a bathroom?

The manufacturer mentions use in a wet room but does not provide any IP rating for this model. In the absence of a numerical value, we recommend Anthas for dry spaces: entrance, hallway, living room, or bedroom. For a bathroom project, our customer service team will guide you toward a model with documented waterproofing.

Are two Anthas wall lights identical?

No. Each sphere is carved from a block of natural alabaster, whose crystalline veining varies from one piece to another. As a pair on either side of a mirror or headboard, the two wall lights will share the same shape and brass finish, but the pattern of the stone will remain different.

To go further

Explore the combinations of stone and metal in our wall light catalog.
