The arc directs the flow in a precise direction instead of spreading it throughout the room.

Three finishes are available: gold, black, or white. Above a frame, a bookcase, or a living room niche, the arc brings the beam right in front of the surface to be revealed. The manufacturer also mentions the bedroom and office.

General installation rule: 1.70 to 1.90 m from the floor above a painting, so that the arc overhangs the frame. Above a desk, lower it to around 1.50 m so that the light falls on the work surface and not in the eyes.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The gold finish warms up a neutral wall and draws the eye to the curve; black makes it a graphic line; white almost erases it. The acrylic of the diffuser requires a soft, solvent-free cloth that would dull it. The metal is dusted dry, when the luminaire is off and cooled.

Bulb and installation

The SMD LED is integrated into the diffuser: no bulb to buy, no socket to identify. The power supply is via a cable to a fixed point, in 110 to 240 V. Assembly is planned upon receipt, connection to be entrusted to an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an arc and a flat wall light?

A flat wall light illuminates the area facing it, most often from top to bottom along the wall. The arc shifts the source forward and downward, which places the beam in front of the wall rather than against it. This offset allows to illuminate a specific object.

Gold, black, or white: which one for a light living room?

In a living room with light walls, gold creates a warm contrast and becomes a bold decor element. Black plays the same role on a drier and more graphic register. White, meanwhile, blends into the paint and only lets the light show, useful when the wall is already busy.

Can it be installed in a kitchen?

On a dry wall, away from the sink and burners, yes. The IP20 rating does not protect against splashes, so avoid the immediate vicinity of the cooking surface. The manufacturer, for its part, cites the living room, bedroom, and office as recommended rooms for this reference.

Should a cable outlet be planned?

Yes, the power supply is via a cable connected to a fixed point on the wall. If no inlet exists at the intended location, it must be created before installation, because the plate screws onto it. Remember the tolerance of 1 to 3 cm that the manufacturer announces on its dimensions.

To go further

Discover other silhouettes in our wall light catalog.
