It does not obstruct traffic.

This compact design lends itself to installation in a row, with three or four units aligned along a hallway, or as an isolated accent above a light switch, doorway, or office corner. The orange version requires a neutral wall to stand out.

General installation rule: when installing in a row, maintain a consistent center-to-center distance and mark it with a chalk line before drilling, as even the slightest deviation will be noticeable with regular discs.

Material, finish and care

The body is made of iron, and the shade combines jade and glass. The manufacturer states that the jade patterns vary from one piece to another, as each item is handmade. A dry cloth is sufficient for cleaning both the metal and the stone; the glass can be wiped with a barely damp cloth and dried immediately.

Bulb and installation

The socket is a G9, and the bulb is not supplied. As the interior space is limited, a LED G9 bulb helps keep temperatures down when in contact with the jade and glass. Only one bulb is required per wall light.

General installation rule: connect to a fixed cable outlet positioned in the center of the disc. The weight is not specified: have an electrician select the appropriate wall plugs for the mounting surface, especially when installing in a row.

Frequently asked questions

What do the six available finishes include?

Each option combines two colors: a white or orange background, complemented by gold, white, or black. The dimensions and materials remain the same from one version to another. The choice therefore depends solely on the contrast between the disc and its mount.

Which G9 bulb should I use with Ildvuvyo?

A two-pin G9 bulb, not supplied, preferably LED. The compact design of the disc leaves little space to dissipate heat, so halogen bulbs are not suitable. A low-wattage bulb is sufficient for this accent lighting, where the wall light is designed to highlight rather than illuminate.

Can several be aligned in a hallway?

Yes, and the regular 17 cm diameter makes them well-suited for this. Allow for one cable outlet per wall light and an identical center-to-center distance between each point. Each shade will retain its own jade pattern, as the material is natural and the piece is handmade.

Is the jade in the shade translucent?

The manufacturer states that the shade is made of jade and glass, without specifying the degree of translucency. When lit, the wall light diffuses light through both materials, revealing the stone's pattern in transparency. During the day, the disc appears as a decorative element.

For more inspiration

Explore the round shapes in our wall light catalogue.
