The 40 cm diameter frames a headboard or the end of a hallway. The 80 and 100 cm versions require an unobstructed wall.

General installation rule: allow at least 50 cm of free wall around the circle so that its shape stands out, and avoid placing it opposite a window where it would be reflected.

Material, finish and maintenance

The metal and aluminum body receives a black or white lacquered finish. The silica gel forms the flexible seal that holds the white shade in place. Dust with a soft, dry cloth, without solvents or abrasive products on the lacquer.

Bulb and installation

No bulb is required: the LED is integrated into the light fixture. Linear connects via fixed wiring to a wall cable outlet, in 110 to 240 V. The technical sheet specifies that the power supply must pass through an external wall switch, compatible with standard push-button models, not included.

Frequently asked questions

Is Linear suitable for a bathroom?

No. The technical sheet states an IP 20 rating, not waterproof, for indoor use only. IP 20 offers no protection against water splashes or the ambient humidity of a bathroom. Reserve Linear for dry rooms: living room, bedroom, hallway or stairwell.

Which diameter to choose for which room?

The 40 cm is installed above a bedside table or in a narrow hallway. The 60 cm does its job on a standard bedroom wall. The 80 and 100 cm are living room formats: they need space to be seen in full, otherwise the circle overflows the field of vision.

What color temperature is delivered?

All versions available here are listed with warm light. The manufacturer's documentation also mentions neutral to 4000 K and cold to 6000 K levels, which are not among the proposed variants. If you need another color temperature, contact our customer service before ordering.

Is a special switch required?

Linear does not have a switch integrated on the light fixture. The power supply must be cut off upstream by a wall switch, which you provide. Standard push-button models are listed as compatible. Therefore, plan this point with your electrician when connecting the cable outlet.

To go further

Other circular formats are gathered in our wall light section.
