The 40 cm size is suitable for a bedroom or a narrow wall; the 60 and 80 cm versions require a large clear space, behind a sofa or in a stairwell.

General installation rule: centre a disc of this size at 1.80 m or 1.90 m above the floor, and allow for the 18 cm depth in walkways.

Material, finish and care

The metal frame is available in gold, black or white, surrounding a white acrylic diffuser. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass: wipe it with a dry microfibre cloth, without solvents or alcohol, while the light fixture is switched off.

Bulb and installation

No bulb is required, as the LED is integrated into the disc. The light fixture is hardwired to a wall electrical outlet, then switched on using a standard push-button switch, not supplied. Given the diameter, use wall plugs suitable for the mounting surface and a second pair of hands for installation.

Frequently asked questions

Which diameter should I choose for a living room?

The 60 cm size is well-balanced above a three-seater sofa. The 40 cm size is suitable for a narrow wall, a bedroom or installation in pairs. The 80 cm size is designed for large spaces and double-height walls, where a smaller disc would get lost visually.

Can I choose the colour temperature?

The manufacturer offers three colour temperatures: warm white 3000 K, neutral white 4000 K and cool white 6000 K. The available options only specify the diameter and finish. If you need a specific colour temperature, please contact our customer service team before confirming your order.

Can Eurtheion be installed in a bathroom?

No. The indicated protection rating is IP20, for dry indoor use only, with no resistance to water splashes. This wall light is intended for the living room, bedroom, entrance hall or stairwell. A bathroom requires at least IP44, depending on the installation area.

Is the light directed towards the wall?

The white acrylic diffuser covers the front of the disc: the light shines into the room, softened by the material. The 18 cm depth sets the light fixture away from the wall, which also creates a halo on the wall when the room is otherwise dimly lit.

Discover more

Compare large-format wall lights in our selection of wall lights.
