Installed on its own, it adds rhythm to a hallway or frames a door; in pairs, it borders a mirror or headboard. Its round shape softens the angular lines of a living room or bedroom wall.

General installation rule: center of the globe approximately 1.60 m to 1.70 m above the floor in a walkway, slightly lower beside a bed. IP20: keep it in dry rooms.

Material, finish and care

The shade is made of white glass, and the base is made of colored, white or grey lacquered metal. Dust the glass with a slightly damp soft cloth, then dry; wipe the metal dry. Avoid abrasive powders, which scratch the glass and dull the lacquer.

Bulb and installation

The socket accepts a G9 LED or exposed filament bulb of approximately 3 W. The model comes wired and connects to a standard push-button wall switch, not supplied. Allow for a cable outlet behind the wall light and suitable wall plugs for the mounting surface before installation.

Frequently asked questions

Which Culoren color should I choose?

Three finishes are available: colored, white and grey. The white version blends into a light-colored wall and almost disappears when switched off. The grey version remains discreet on a concrete or taupe wall. The colored version, on the other hand, provides a bright accent, useful in a child's bedroom or a hallway that needs brightening up.

Which G9 bulb is needed for this glass wall light?

The specified socket is a G9, for a warm white LED or exposed filament bulb of approximately 3 W. A warm white LED, around 2700 to 3000 K, gives a soft light behind the white glass. One bulb is sufficient per wall light. The maximum permitted power is not specified by the manufacturer.

Can Culoren be installed in a bathroom?

No. Its rating is IP20, not waterproof, for indoor use only. It does not protect against splashes or the moisture of wet rooms. A bathroom wall light requires at least an IP44 rating and must comply with the required distances around the shower or bath. Install Culoren in a dry room.

How is the light diffused?

The white glass surrounds the G9 socket and distributes the light across the entire sphere, without any direct glare. The resulting lighting is soft, better suited to creating ambiance than for reading. For a reading nook, an adjustable wall light is better; Culoren provides even accent lighting.

For more

Other globes and glass shades await you in our wall light catalog.
