Its height of 13 cm keeps it discreet above a console table or a bedside table without a shelf.

General installation rule: aim for the centre of the wall light between 1.60 and 1.70 m from the floor to illuminate a mirror, or lower near a bed. As the wiring is integrated, plan for a cable outlet at the mounting point before drilling.

Material, finish and maintenance

The base is made of smooth resin, tinted according to the chosen colour. The globe is made of opal glass, whose white grain distributes the light without revealing the source. Wipe the resin with a soft, barely damp cloth; the glass can be cleaned dry to prevent limescale marks.

Bulb and installation

Keva takes a G9 base bulb, not included, of 5 W maximum. A warm white G9 LED pairs well with opal glass. The wall light connects to a wall cable outlet and accepts a wall dimmer, provided you choose a bulb stated as dimmable by its manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

Which bulb to choose for the Keva wall light?

You need a two-pin G9 type bulb, sold separately, with a power not exceeding 5 W. A warm white G9 LED remains the simplest choice: it produces little heat in a closed globe and consumes less than an incandescent bulb of equivalent power. One bulb is sufficient per wall light.

Is Keva suitable for a bathroom?

The manufacturer states compatibility with wet areas, but does not specify an IP rating. When in doubt, reserve it for locations protected from direct splashes, for example on either side of a washbasin mirror, and not above a bathtub or in a shower. Have the connection checked by an electrician.

Can the intensity of Keva be varied?

Yes, the wall light is stated as compatible with a dimmer, which is not included. Two conditions: install a wall dimmer suitable for the load, and choose a G9 bulb explicitly stated as dimmable. A non-dimmable LED will flicker or refuse to dim, even when connected to a correctly wired dimmer.

Which colour to choose from the four finishes?

White blends into a light-coloured wall and leaves the globe alone visible. Black creates a sharp contrast and highlights the oblong silhouette. Grey remains neutral on a coloured wall. Powder pink warms up a bedroom or light-coloured bathroom. The opal globe is identical in all four cases.

For more

Browse all our wall lights.
