Its full rotation makes it an ideal bedside lamp: head down for reading, head up for grazing ambient light.

General installation rule: above a bedside table, aim for 1.20 to 1.40 m from the floor, within arm's reach so you can adjust the head without getting up. When used as a pair, keep them at the same height on both sides of the bed.

Material, finish, and maintenance

Everything is made of metal, both the body and the shade, which ensures the longevity of the joint. The four lacquered finishes can be dusted with a dry cloth. Red and blue stand out against a light-colored wall, white blends in, and black highlights the silhouette of the head.

Bulb and installation

The G4 LED bulb is listed as supplied and emits warm white light. The number of bulbs and maximum wattage are not specified: if replacing it, stick to a low-wattage G4 LED. The power supply is via a fixed-length cable, operating at 110 to 240 V, and assembly is required during installation.

Frequently asked questions

What is the range of rotation?

The head rotates 360°, a full circle. You can therefore direct the beam downwards for reading, upwards to illuminate the ceiling, or towards the wall for softer reflected light. This flexibility is useful next to a bed or armchair.

What are the dimensions of Myra?

The manufacturer's data does not include specific dimensions, instead referring to the photographs. However, the recommended area of 5 to 10 m² places the light in the compact wall light category. Our customer service team can measure it exactly before you order.

Can it be connected to a dimmer?

No. The manufacturer states that it is not dimmable or compatible with smart control. No dimmer is provided, and the supplied LED is not listed as dimmable. To control the light in a bedroom, separate the wall light from the ceiling light on two different switches.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer does not list a specific protection rating and specifies indoor use. Without a rating, the wall light cannot be installed in the safety zones of a bathroom. For a mirror, choose a model with at least an IP44 rating.

Learn more

Browse the articulated models in our wall light catalog.
