In pairs, it frames a bed, console or front door. Its small footprint makes it suitable for a passageway.

General installation rule: centre the rod at around 1.30 m from the floor, so that the 80 cm of light is distributed on either side of eye level rather than entirely above.

Material, finish and maintenance

The body combines black lacquered metal, silicone and woven fibre. The matte lacquer conceals fingerprints but collects dust along the entire length of the rod. Dust off with a dry microfibre cloth, working from top to bottom, without solvents or abrasive sponges.

Bulb and installation

No bulb is required: the LEDs are integrated into the rod and cannot be replaced individually. The connection is fixed, to a cable outlet controlled by a standard wall switch, not included. Locate the power supply before installation.

Frequently asked questions

What colour temperature can be ordered?

Warm white, at 3000 K. The manufacturer also mentions neutral white and cool white, but only the warm white version is available to order. This warm colour suits living spaces and softens the contrast with the black metal of the rod.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No, not like a bulb. The rod is fitted with its diodes at the factory, with no accessible socket, and the white diffuser cannot be removed to accommodate a standard lamp. In this respect, Vavenara follows the principle of integrated LED wall lights. If a diode fails, contact our customer service team, which will assess whether it can be repaired or replaced.

Is Vavenara suitable for a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer states an IP 20 rating, with no protection against water, and for indoor use only. A mention of suitability for damp environments appears in its specifications, but without a corresponding numerical rating: this is therefore not sufficient to confirm suitability for a bathroom. Reserve this rod for dry rooms, away from splashes.

Is a particular wall required for an 80 cm rod?

Height matters more than strength: allow for an unobstructed 80 cm section, without a high skirting board or a switch in the middle. It is fixed using a standard mounting plate, which can be adapted to the nature of the surface: plasterboard, brick or concrete.

For more

Discover our dark models in our wall light catalogue.
