Here, the shape is as important as the lighting: the arch creates a clean loop on the wall, especially in blue and red, which stand out as a colorful accent. The IP20 rating means it must be installed in a dry room.

With a recommended illuminated area of 5 to 10 m², Vayla lights up a corner rather than an entire room. It works well in pairs around a bed or sideboard, or on its own above an entryway console, where the wall remains uncluttered.

General installation rule: 1.50 to 1.60 m above the floor at the head of the bed, or 1.70 to 1.80 m on a passageway wall. The arch needs a little space to be seen: avoid placing it right in a corner.

Material, finish, and care

The body is made of painted metal, while the light cover is made of ABS. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; for the ABS, a slightly damp cloth is enough. Avoid alcohol or acetone, which could damage the plastic.

Bulb and installation

The product description states that one LED light source is included per wall light, with direct connection to a 110 to 240 V power supply. The light color, warm or neutral, is selected when ordering. Assembly is required upon delivery, and the manufacturer recommends installation by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Which color Vayla should I choose?

Black and gray blend into a light-colored wall, letting the shape speak for itself. Blue and red work as an accent: one is enough in a room, preferably against a neutral surface. All four colors use the same LED light source.

Does Vayla provide enough light for a bedroom?

The manufacturer recommends an area of 5 to 10 m², which is suitable for accent lighting. Installed in pairs on either side of a bed, it meets the needs of the evening and reading. For general room lighting, complement it with an overhead light or pendant light.

Can I choose the light color after purchase?

No. The warm or neutral light is selected when ordering, and the light is neither dimmable nor remotely controllable. If you are unsure, warm light remains the standard choice for a bedroom, while neutral light is better suited to a dining room or office.

Discover more

Explore the rest of the range in our wall light catalog.
