The cylinder can then be turned toward the bed or toward the wall to reflect the light.

General installation rule: 1.20 m to 1.40 m from the floor to the headboard. Check that the 150 cm cord reaches the outlet without crossing a walkway. IP20: for dry rooms.

Material, finish, and care

The body and shade are made of metal and finished in the same color: white, gray, green, or black, in soft tones depending on the light source. Unplug the lamp before dusting it with a dry cloth.

Bulb and installation

The socket accepts an E26 or E27 bulb, whether LED or with an exposed filament. Installation requires drilling and suitable wall plugs, with no electrical work needed. For a French outlet, choose the EU variant; the US, UK, and AU versions follow different standards.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an electrician to install this plug-in wall light?

No, not for the electrical connection. The model comes with an approximately 150 cm cord fitted with a plug and switch, so it can be plugged into a standard outlet. Wall mounting requires drilling and wall plugs chosen according to the wall material. Remember to select the EU variant.

How far does the cylinder rotate?

The manufacturer states a rotation range of 350°, almost a full circle. You can direct the beam toward a page, the ceiling, or the wall to create a softer reflected light. With only 20 cm of projection, the head remains close to the wall and does not obstruct traffic.

What bulb should I use in this metal cylinder?

The socket accepts E26 and E27 bulbs. A low-wattage LED is the safest choice, as it limits heat buildup inside the enclosed metal cylinder. An exposed-filament bulb also works and is visible through the opening. Our customer service team will help you choose the right wattage for your intended use.

Is this model suitable for a living room?

Yes. The manufacturer recommends it for both bedrooms and living rooms. Near a sofa, it works as a reading light; above a shelf, it provides accent lighting. Its IP20 rating limits it to dry rooms, and the cord must reach an outlet without crossing a walkway.

Learn more

Other plug-in models can be found in our wall light collection.
