The arm pivots along the wall and directs the beam toward a worktop, shelf, or armchair.

The body is made of metal, while the diffuser is made of acrylic. The manufacturer recommends the living room, bedroom, and office.

General installation rule: mount it 1.30 to 1.45 m above the floor next to a reading seat, and leave 50 to 60 cm of clear wall space in the direction of its swing so the arm can move freely without hitting anything.

Material, finish, and care

The metal forms the mounting plate and arm, while the acrylic forms the diffuser. This material scratches more easily than glass: use a dry microfiber cloth and avoid powder or abrasive sponges. Fingerprints are common on this model because the arm must be handled to adjust it.

Bulb and installation

The light source is an integrated SMD LED: there is no bulb to screw in or select from a store. However, the light color temperature must be chosen when ordering, as it depends on the version selected. The light is supplied with a cable for a fixed-point connection, and assembly is required upon delivery. The electrical connection should be carried out by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Can the arm be adjusted after installation?

Yes, that is the very purpose of the swing arm: it can be adjusted daily once the light fixture is installed. Only the mounting plate remains fixed to the wall, as it houses the electrical connection. Plan the swing space when choosing the location, not after drilling.

Which of the three versions should I choose?

Warm white is suitable for a reading nook or bedroom, where the light should remain soft in the evening. Natural light renders colors more accurately and is useful above a desk or worktop. Cool white is the sharpest of the three and is intended for technical applications.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer states an IP20 rating, so it offers no protection against water splashes. Reserve this model for the dry rooms listed in the technical specifications: living room, bedroom, and office. For a bathroom mirror, choose a light fixture with a rating of at least IP44.

Can it be connected to a dimmer?

The manufacturer states that this light fixture is not dimmable, so it is not designed for use with a wall dimmer. This model is adjusted differently: by directing the arm, you change the illuminated area and the amount of light reflected into the room, which already meets many needs.

Learn more

Browse our full range of wall lights to compare different types of articulation.
