Allow about 60 cm of clearance on either side so the arm can swing freely.

General installation rule: approximately 1.20 m to 1.30 m from the floor beside a bed, and higher above a work surface. The IP20 rating means this model is intended for dry rooms.

Material, finish and care

The structure is made of metal, and the diffusing part is white acrylic, with a gold or black finish. Wipe the arm and head with a dry cloth while the power is off, without using abrasive cream.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated: no bulb needs to be purchased or screwed in. Hardwired, the model connects to a wall-mounted cable outlet. Depending on the version, the light is switched on via the room switch or the push-button on the sconce.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the wall switch version or the push-button version?

It depends entirely on your installation. The wall switch version is operated from the control already installed in the room. The push-button version adds a control directly on the sconce, which is convenient from bed. Both are hardwired and available in gold or black. The manufacturer's comparison is shown above.

How long does the arm reach when extended?

When folded, the light fixture measures 32 cm long by 12 cm high. When extended, it projects the head up to 58 cm from the wall. This range is sufficient to illuminate a page or keyboard, and then to bring the whole fixture back against the wall when the light is no longer needed. Allow for this reach in the available clearance.

Can I get neutral light with this model?

The available versions are limited to two color temperatures: warm light and cool light. Warm light remains the usual choice for a bedroom, while cool light is better suited to a workspace. If you need an intermediate value, our customer service team will show you the models in our shop that offer neutral white.

Is this directional sconce suitable for a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer rates it IP20, a rating that does not cover any water splashes. It should therefore be installed in a dry room: bedroom, office, living room, or hallway. For a bathroom, you need a model with a rating of at least IP44, and you must respect the safety distances defined by electrical standards.

Learn more

Other adjustable models are available in our wall sconce catalog.
