The lines are clean, without moulding or ornamentation.

Four stone colours are available: green, black, white A and white B, the two whites distinguished by their veining.

Technical specifications

Dimensions: 14 cm deep, 19 cm wide, 14 cm high

Body: marble

Shade: glass

Available colours: green, black, white A, white B

Socket: G9

Bulb: not included

Where to install this wall light?

With its square profile measuring 14 cm by 14 cm, Fable takes up little wall space and is ideal where a taller wall light would look too heavy: above a low living room cabinet, in a short hallway, or as a pair in a bedroom.

General installation rule: aim to centre the light about 1.65 m above the floor for standing ambient lighting, and approximately 1.25 m on either side of a bed. Its 14 cm projection leaves the passage clear even in a narrow space.

Material, finish and care

The stone is available in green, black and two shades of white. The manufacturer advises that the marble patterns vary from product to product: the piece delivered will not exactly match the design shown in the photos. Clean the marble with a dry cloth, without using acidic detergents, and the glass with a soft, barely damp cloth.

Bulb and installation

Fable takes a G9 bulb, not supplied. In a 14 cm housing, a G9 LED remains the sensible choice: it generates little heat, which protects the joint between the stone and glass. It is fixed to the wall over a cable outlet, which must be planned before drilling the support.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between white A and white B?

Both share the same dimensions and socket. Only the marble differs: the manufacturer offers two designs of white stone, labelled A and B. As they state that the patterns vary from one product to another, consider these two options as two families of veining rather than two fixed designs.

Is this wall light suitable for a small wall?

Yes. With a width of 19 cm, a height of 14 cm and a depth of 14 cm, Fable remains one of the compact formats in the catalogue. It fits on a narrow wall panel, between two doors, or above a low headboard without overwhelming the surrounding wall arrangement.

Which G9 bulb should I choose?

A warm white G9 LED, around 2700 to 3000 K, complements the marble and glass well. The manufacturer does not state a maximum permitted wattage: therefore, stick to a low-consumption LED rather than a G9 halogen bulb, whose heat would be poorly tolerated in such a short housing.

Will the colour received match the photos?

The dominant shade, yes: green, black or white, depending on your choice. The design, no. Marble is a natural stone and the manufacturer states that their product and the photos shown may differ. If you order a pair, expect two distinct veining patterns on the same wall.

For more

Compare the materials in our wall light catalogue.
