In the 30 x 30 cm size, the moon can be placed above a bedside table or in a hallway. In the 60 x 60 cm size, it requires an unobstructed wall and becomes the main feature of the room.

General installation rule: centre the disc approximately 1.45 m above the floor, above a low piece of furniture, or raise it to approximately 1.60 m on a bare wall.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The combination of plaster and metal creates a matte, non-reflective surface that softens the LED's halo. Its porous surface should be dry-cleaned with a soft brush. Water should be avoided, as it may leave a visible ring on the white surface.

Bulb and installation

The light source is an included SMD LED, with no screw-in socket or bulb to purchase. The colour temperature is selected when ordering, except for the dimmable version, which can be adjusted using the remote control. It is connected by cable to a fixed outlet.

Frequently asked questions

30 x 30 or 60 x 60 cm: which size should I choose?

Compare the size of the wall with that of the adjacent piece of furniture. The smaller size can be installed in pairs on either side of a bed or used to punctuate a hallway. The larger size occupies an entire wall section on its own and works best centred above a sideboard or headboard, with empty space around it.

3000, 4000, or 6000 K: what do these values mean?

They describe the colour of the light. 3000 K produces a slightly yellow warm white, suitable for a bedroom or living room in the evening. 4000 K is close to natural daylight and preserves true colours. 6000 K produces a cooler, brighter white, which is generally reserved for utility rooms.

What are the benefits of the dimmable version with a remote control?

It allows you to adjust the intensity from the sofa or bed without touching the wall switch. This is useful for a 60 cm moon that serves both as ambient lighting and a decorative feature. The other versions maintain a fixed colour and intensity, selected at the time of ordering.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The stated rating is IP20, and the declared use is for dry indoor areas. The plaster reinforces this restriction, as it absorbs steam and stains as it dries. The rooms recommended by the manufacturer are the living room, bedroom, dining room, and hallway, all outside of wet rooms.

For more options

Decorative lighting can be found on our wall lights page.
