It requires clear space above and below, without a shelf blocking the light.

The manufacturer recommends it for bedrooms and living rooms measuring 5 to 10 m². The model works in hallways or on either side of a headboard, when viewed from the front.

General installation rule: for a double beam, place the centre of the light approximately 1.70 m above the floor to balance the two halos.

Material, finish and maintenance

The body is made of metal and combined with marble. The three finishes create different looks: white blends in, gold adds warmth, and green makes a bold statement. Dust the marble dry, without acidic products, which damage limestone.

Bulb and installation

The SMD LED is supplied with the light: no socket needs to be fitted. The stated colour temperature is warm white and is not adjustable, and the model is not compatible with dimmers or smart controls. The cable is not adjustable: the electrical outlet must be located at the fixing point. Assembly is required, and the manufacturer recommends installation by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Which Drena finish should I choose?

The white version blends into a light-coloured wall and lets the marble stand out. Gold warms up the overall look and complements brass handles or furniture legs. Green is the most striking: it works as a contrast against light-coloured paint or echoes a textile. All three share the same light.

Why does the light shine upwards and downwards?

This is the model's design: symmetrical lighting that creates two halos, one towards the ceiling and the other towards the floor. The effect is graphic but requires an unobstructed wall. Under a shelf or low cornice, the upper beam would be blocked and the composition would lose its balance.

Is Drena compatible with a dimmer?

No. The manufacturer states that the model is non-dimmable and has no smart control. The supplied LED is fixed at warm white. A dimmer installed on the circuit would cause flickering without properly reducing the intensity. Plan for a simple switch during electrical connection.

Can Drena be installed in a bathroom?

No. The stated rating is IP20, intended for dry indoor use. Furthermore, marble is a porous stone, sensitive to moisture and acidic products. Therefore, reserve Drena for the bedroom, living room, entrance hall or corridor. For a room with water, choose a model rated at least IP44.

For more

Discover our entire range of wall lights.
