The manufacturer recommends it for hallways and above mirrors.

It is also designed for ceiling installation: in the 120 cm version, the model creates a continuous line in a dressing room, which the 60 cm version cannot span.

General installation rule: when installing above a mirror, leave about ten centimetres between the frame and the top of the mirror.

Material, finish and care

The frame is made of pine wood and combined with metal and an acrylic diffuser. Two shades are available: wood-effect and a darker walnut finish. Dust the wood dry, without wetting it; the diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated: no additional equipment or bulbs are required. The power ranges from approximately 12 W for the 60 cm model to approximately 24 W for the 120 cm model. It is connected via fixed wiring at 110 to 240 V and controlled by a push-button switch, not supplied. When installing on the ceiling, check that the support can bear the weight before drilling.

Frequently asked questions

Which Lustra size should I choose?

The 60 cm model is suitable above a console table. The 80 cm model balances a 140 or 160 cm headboard. The 120 cm model, the most powerful at approximately 24 W, is designed for long hallways and ceiling installations. All three share a height of 5 cm.

Can Lustra be fitted to the ceiling?

Yes, the manufacturer recommends wall or ceiling installation. When fitted to the ceiling, the model creates a continuous line, ideal in a hallway or dressing room. In both cases, it is connected to a fixed cable outlet, which should be installed at the intended location before fitting the light.

What colour temperature is available?

The manufacturer offers a range of 3000 K warm white, 4000 K neutral white and 6000 K cool white, depending on the version selected. The colour temperature is fixed by the variant and cannot be adjusted after installation. Choose warm white for a bedroom, or neutral or cool white above a mirror.

Is Lustra suitable for a bathroom?

No. The stated IP20 rating means it is not waterproof and is intended for dry indoor use only. A pine wood frame is not well suited to constant steam. Install it in a bedroom, hallway, entrance hall or dressing room. For a room with water, choose a model with at least an IP44 rating.

Discover more

Browse all our wall lights.
