Its 6 cm protrusion makes it discreet even in narrow passages.

General installation rule: position the light at a height where you can unhook it or plug in the cable, at a maximum of 1.90 m from the floor, since it is recharged on site or by hand.

Material, finish and maintenance

The tube is made of metal, with a transparent acrylic diffuser. Two finishes are available: black or copper. Acrylic can scratch: clean it with a soft microfiber cloth without solvents. Avoid leaving the battery completely discharged for several weeks.

Bulb and installation

No bulb to purchase or circuit to install: the LED is built-in and the battery recharges in 3 to 4 hours via the supplied USB cable, at 5 V - 2 A or 8 V - 2 A. The manufacturer states compliance with European standards.

Frequently asked questions

How long does Belinda last on a single charge?

The manufacturer states approximately 3 hours at full power and 12 to 15 hours at the lowest setting. For ambient use, one charge therefore lasts several evenings. A full recharge takes 3 to 4 hours using the USB cable supplied with the light.

Do you need to drill into the wall?

The installation is wall-mounted and requires no electrical connection, but the mounting remains mechanical: a support is required. This is the main advantage of the model for rentals or renovations, as hiring an electrician to create a light point becomes unnecessary and the wall remains intact electrically.

Which length should you choose, 65 or 85 cm?

The 65 cm version delivers 1100 lumens and is suitable for a bedside or hallway. The 85 cm version reaches 1650 lumens and covers a wider section of wall, for example above a sofa or reading area.

Is Belinda suitable for a bathroom?

No. The manufacturer states IP20 and exclusive indoor use, with no water resistance. Bathroom spaces require at least IP44. The battery provides another reason to avoid using it in damp rooms: keep it in a bedroom, living room, office or hallway, in a heated room without steam.

Learn more

See the linear formats in our wall light catalogue.
