The 55 and 60 cm versions can be mounted vertically next to a bed; the 100 and 120 cm versions stretch horizontally above a sofa or worktop.

The rotation makes all the difference in use: with the bar turned towards the wall, you get indirect lighting; turned towards the room, it provides task lighting. General installation rule: above a desk, aim the axis of the bar at 1.50 m above the floor and leave enough clearance for it to rotate fully.

Material, finish and maintenance

The bar is entirely metal, both the body and the shade. The manufacturer offers black and gold finishes; the available color depends on the version ordered. A soft, dry cloth is all that is needed for maintenance; also dust the top surface, which collects dust quickly.

Bulb and installation

The manufacturer specifies an LED light source and an E27 socket, but does not state whether the bulb is included: our customer service team can check this before you place your order. The light color temperature, however, is chosen at the time of purchase: warm white between 2700 and 3500 K or cool white between 5500 and 7000 K. It connects to a fixed cable outlet, 110-240 V, with assembly during installation.

Frequently asked questions

What length should I choose for a headboard?

For a 140 cm bed, a 55 or 60 cm bar mounted vertically on one side of the bed remains discreet and leaves room for bedside tables. Above a 160 cm bed, a centered 100 cm horizontal version provides a continuous band of light. Measure the wall before deciding.

Warm white or cool white?

Warm white, between 2700 and 3500 K, is suitable for the living room and bedroom: yellow light, conducive to relaxation. Cool white, between 5500 and 7000 K, is much brighter and bluer, suited to an office or worktop. The choice is made when ordering and cannot be changed afterwards.

How far does the bar rotate?

The manufacturer states that the bar rotates freely on its mount, but does not specify the range of rotation in degrees. Therefore, ensure there is enough room for it to rotate without hitting a low ceiling or a wall corner, especially in the 100 and 120 cm versions.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The technical specifications state IP20 and indoor use, even though the manufacturer's presentation mentions the bathroom. IP20 offers no protection against water: we do not recommend it for wet rooms. Choose a model whose IP rating is explicitly stated for wet areas.

For more

Discover our directional and linear wall lights.
