The one-light version, 19 cm wide, fits between two openings or above a bedside table. The two-light version measures 46 cm and is naturally suited to the centre of a living room wall or above a fireplace.

Both versions are around 48 to 50 cm high. General installation rule: aim to position the centre of the wall light around 1.60 m above the floor, slightly lower if you place it above a piece of furniture to avoid casting a shadow on the top.

Material, finish and care

The fabric shades should be cleaned dry with a soft brush or the textile attachment on a vacuum cleaner. Polished nickel and chrome show fingerprints: wipe them with a dry microfibre cloth. Black bronze, which is more matte, is more resistant to everyday handling.

Bulb and installation

The socket is an E12, a small 12 mm screw-in base, which is different from the French E14. Allow for one bulb for the one-light version and two for the two-light version. No bulb is supplied, regardless of the size ordered.

Frequently asked questions

How many bulbs does Vedoror require?

One for the one-light version, two for the two-light version. In both cases, the base is an E12, a small 12 mm screw-in model that should not be confused with the E14 commonly used in France. Bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the one-light or two-light version?

It all depends on the available width: 19 cm for one light, 46 cm for two. The single version is suitable for a bedside table or a narrow wall. The double version provides broader illumination and balances the centre of a large wall. The heights are almost identical.

Which finish should I choose for Vedoror?

Black bronze is matte and understated, and shows little sign of use. Polished nickel provides a cool, bright reflection. Chrome takes this reflection even further, almost like a mirror. All three finishes feature the same fabric shade and the same dimensions for each size.

Can Vedoror frame a bed?

The one-light version is well suited to this: only 19 cm wide, placed on either side of the mattress. General installation rule: place the bottom of the shade slightly above the shoulder of a seated person, around 1.20 m above the floor depending on the height of the bed frame.

For more

Fabric shades are available in our range of wall lights.
