The manufacturer recommends it for bedrooms measuring 5 to 10 m².

General installation rule: allow at least 70 cm between two wall lights flanking a bed, and check that the 19 cm projection does not obstruct the opening of a door or cupboard.

Material, finish and care

Alabaster is a natural stone: its veins vary from one piece to another, so the delivered light fixture will not exactly match the photographs. The brass is electroplated, coated with baked enamel and polished. Wipe the alabaster with a dry cloth, as the stone is porous.

Bulb and installation

The bulb is not included. Use an E12 or E14 LED bulb with a maximum power of 15 W and a voltage of 110 to 240 V. Ralin is hardwired. Its 4 kg weight requires it to be securely attached to a solid support by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

What does the set of two include?

The set of two includes two identical wall lights in a single order, packaged together. This is the standard packaging for symmetrically framing a headboard or mirror. It is available in both brass and black finishes. When sold individually, the light fixture is delivered on its own.

Which finish should I choose?

The two available finishes are brass and black. Brass complements the warm tone of the alabaster and blends into a bedroom with wood tones. The black frame accentuates the flowers more and stands out better against a light-coloured wall. The manufacturer's presentation only shows the brass version.

Which bulb should I use with Ralin?

An E12 or E14 LED bulb with a maximum power of 15 W. Alabaster diffuses light with a slight tint, so a warm white bulb complements the stone better than a cool white one. The manufacturer does not specify a colour temperature: our customer service team can advise you based on your intended use.

Is Ralin dimmable?

No, the technical specifications state that it is non-dimmable and not compatible with smart home systems. The manufacturer does not offer intensity control, regardless of the bulb installed. For soft lighting in a bedroom, choose a low-power warm white bulb well below the permitted 15 W.

Discover more

Translucent stones hold a special place in our selection of wall lights.
