The 30 and 40 cm versions frame a door; the 60 and 80 cm versions complement a patio wall or a long band.

General rule for facade installation: approximately 1.80 m above the ground, on either side of a door, equidistant from the frame. On a balcony, place it, if possible, sheltered from direct runoff, even though the IP65 rating withstands rain.

Material, finish and maintenance

The base is made of metal described as corrosion-resistant; the shade is made of clear glass. Clean the glass with soapy water and a soft cloth while the device is switched off. Check the tightness of the mounting every year.

Bulb and installation

The light source is a built-in SMD LED, supplied with the wall light: nothing else to buy. The power supply is 110-240 V via cable. Neither the wattage nor the luminous flux is provided. Outdoors, the connection must be made in a waterproof box; the manufacturer recommends hiring an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Yoru wall light withstand rain and frost?

The manufacturer states an IP65 rating, meaning protection against dust and water jets: rain is not a problem. Frost resistance and the operating temperature range are not specified. For a highly exposed facade, choose a sheltered location under an eave.

Can Yoru be used indoors?

Yes, the manufacturer also recommends it for contemporary interiors. In an entrance or hallway, its IP65 rating far exceeds what is required for a dry room. The clear glass reveals the light source: it provides more direct illumination than a model with an opaque diffuser, which can be glaring at eye level.

Which length of Yoru should I choose for an entrance door?

For a standard door, a pair of 30 or 40 cm lights, one on each side, is the most common solution. A single 60 cm wall light above the door also works. The dimensions other than length are shown in the specifications diagram, but are not repeated in full in the product sheet.

Can Yoru be ordered with a motion sensor?

The product sheet does not include a sensor. As a general rule, a non-dimmable LED wall light can be ordered with a compatible LED outdoor wall sensor installed on the same circuit. Check the sensor's minimum load: some models designed for halogen bulbs may not work well with low-power LEDs.

For more

To equip other outdoor walls or continue the glass and metal style:

the complete selection of wall lights

Elune, outdoor LED light bar with optional sensor

Hako, marble and glass wall light for interiors

Volo, IP44 light bar for damp rooms

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1050/3949/5499/files/73a16618ff00ebfbee58909e2ef5446f-f8338e18-cbe5-4eb7-b27d-aedf5ed3332f.jpg?v=1793207097
