Its verticality elongates the wall; at 100 or 120 cm, a single piece illuminates a large blank section.

The depth of 12 cm remains low for a column of this size. General installation rule: the top of the wall light at the height of the door lintel, i.e. around 2 m from the ground, so that the beam descends along the wall without glaring.

Material, finish and maintenance

The frame is made of solid metal treated against corrosion, matte black finish. The diffuser is made of fluted plastic: its ribbed texture breaks up the beam and prevents a visible light source. Rinse with clean water after a rainy season, then dry with a cloth.

Bulb and installation

The LED module is integrated: nothing to buy, nothing to replace. The power depends on the length, from 18 W at 60 cm to 36 W at 120 cm. The device accepts a voltage of 90 to 260 V and is controlled by a wall switch; it is not dimmable.

Frequently asked questions

Which length of Xeda to choose for an entrance door?

To frame a standard door, the 60 and 75 cm versions remain proportional and are installed in pairs. The 100 and 120 cm versions are better suited to a wide facade wall or a gable end, installed alone. The width and depth are identical on all sizes.

Which color temperature to choose for outdoors?

3000 K gives a warm light, close to home lighting, pleasant on a terrace. 4000 K remains neutral and better highlights the volumes of a facade. 6000 K, very white, is rather used to secure an access or an alley. The choice is made at the time of ordering.

Is the Xeda wall light resistant to rain?

The manufacturer presents it as an outdoor device, with a hermetically sealed chassis resistant to rain and wind. The IP rating, however, is not specified in its documents. For direct and permanent exposure to the elements, ask us for this rating before installation.

Can the intensity of Xeda be varied?

No. The manufacturer's sheet indicates control by a standard wall switch and no dimming function. The intensity is therefore fixed. To modulate the atmosphere of a terrace, play with the number of wall lights and the chosen shade rather than a dimmer.

To go further

Find the other formats in our wall light catalog.
