The manufacturer states that it is moisture-resistant and suitable for bathrooms as well as covered outdoor spaces.

It is available in two colours: a white cap and a more striking red cap with white spots.

Technical specifications

Dimensions: 20 cm wide, 20 cm high

Body: resin

Colour: white or red

Connection: hardwired

Socket: G9

Bulb: 5 W incandescent or LED equivalent, not included

Dimmer: compatible, dimmer not included

Suitable for: moisture-resistant, bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces

Where to install this wall light?

Its moisture resistance makes it suitable for sheltered locations: under an awning, along a walkway or above a garden door. Indoors, the design is perfect for a child's bedroom, nursery or hallway that needs a less conventional touch.

As a general rule, install it in a covered outdoor space at a height of 2 m to 2.20 m above the ground to illuminate the entrance without causing glare. In a child's bedroom, a height of 1.40 m is sufficient and keeps the cap at eye level. The light should be installed away from direct splashes of rain.

Material, finish and care

The moulded resin recreates the shape of the cap and its raised spots. It is unaffected by the ambient moisture in a bathroom or porch. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth to remove dust. Avoid solvents, which could dull the coloured finish.

Bulb and installation

Aria takes a 5 W incandescent G9 bulb or LED equivalent, not included. The light is hardwired and connects to an existing cable outlet. In a covered outdoor space, the connection must be carried out by an electrician using a junction box suitable for the location.

Frequently asked questions

Can Aria stay outside all year round?

The manufacturer recommends it for covered outdoor spaces, such as under an awning, porch or roof overhang. Avoid walls exposed to driving rain or water-laden gusts. Under cover, it withstands ambient moisture and seasonal temperature fluctuations without any special treatment.

Is it suitable for a child's bedroom?

Yes. The mushroom design and spotted cap are ideal for this purpose, and the manufacturer lists child's bedrooms as one of the recommended locations. As a wall light, it frees up space on the bedside table. Choose a warm-white LED G9 bulb for soft light at bedtime.

Should I choose the white or red model?

The white cap is understated and blends in with a light-coloured wall or bathroom. The red spotted version makes a bolder statement and works better in a child's bedroom or colourful interior. Both versions have the same dimensions, socket and moisture resistance.

Can Aria be connected to a dimmer?

The manufacturer states that it is compatible with dimmers, which are not included. A dimmable G9 bulb and a control unit designed for this light source are required. In a child's bedroom, a dimmer allows you to keep a faint light on at night without adding a second night light.

For more ideas

See also our full range of wall lights.
