The contrast between the two is the model's only decorative feature, with no added pattern.

The manufacturer rates it for outdoor use, with an IP65 rating and a stated maximum power of 11 to 15 W.

Technical specifications

Main materials: metal and glass

Body: metal, black finish

Shade: clear glass, domed bubble shape

Maximum power: 11 to 15 W

Protection rating: IP65

Use: outdoor

Source: SMD LED included, single source

Color temperature: warm light

Dimmable: no

Voltage: 110 to 240 V

Power supply: cable connection

Stated treatment: rustproof and corrosion-resistant

Assembly: to be completed during installation

Package contents: one wall light set

Measurement tolerance: 1 to 3 cm stated by the manufacturer

Where to install this wall light?

The manufacturer recommends the garden, patio, and balcony. The shape of the glass reflects light both upwards and downwards, making it well suited to a light-colored wall whose surface extends the illumination.

General installation rule: aim for 2 m above the ground along a patio, and repeat the same model every three to four meters rather than mounting a single point very high.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The metal backplate is stated to have a rustproof and corrosion-resistant treatment, which is important by the sea or under an overflowing gutter. The domed glass should be cleaned by hand rather than with a brush: rubbing a hard water scale with it would eventually dull the surface and cloud its transparency.

Bulb and installation

The SMD LED is supplied with the light fixture, in warm light and without dimming capability. Allow 11 to 15 W maximum on the circuit. The power supply is via cable: therefore, a waterproof outlet is required at the installation point, installed by an electrician according to the manufacturer's recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

What power consumption should be expected for this model?

The manufacturer's data sheet states a maximum power of 11 to 15 W. This is the order of magnitude of an LED source intended to illuminate a walkway, not to flood a garden. On a standard outdoor lighting circuit, several lights of this type can be connected without any particular sizing difficulties.

Is the corrosion-resistant treatment sufficient by the sea?

The manufacturer states a rustproof and corrosion-resistant technology, without specifying a standard or duration of resistance to salt spray. In a marine environment, the useful reflex remains a rinse with clean water two or three times a year, which removes the salt deposits before they attack the hardware and the backplate.

Is this light dimmable?

No, the technical sheet indicates a non-dimmable reference. Connected to a dimmer, an LED source not designed for this will flicker or refuse low levels, and its electronics will age faster. Plan for a simple switch, or a two-way switch if you are lighting a path between two access points.

Does the clear glass retain its appearance over time?

The glass does not yellow like some plastics, but it shows rain and limescale marks. Two passes with a microfiber cloth per year are enough to restore the stated transparency. Simply avoid scouring creams and abrasive sponges, which leave an irreversible veil of micro-scratches on the domed surface.

To go further

Browse all the wall models in our selection of wall lights.
