The central LED module illuminates the back panel rather than shining directly into your eyes: the light reflects off the reflector and bathes the wall in a soft, glare-free halo.

It is resistant to rain and dust with an IP65 rating and can be installed both outdoors and indoors.

Technical specifications

Compact version: 20 cm high, 8 cm wide, 6 or 10 W LED

Large version: 40 cm high, 15 cm wide, 20 or 30 W LED

Material: solid aluminum, anti-corrosion coating

Available finishes: black or white

Lighting: indirect LED, internal reflector

Protection rating: IP65, rain- and dust-resistant

Intensity: fixed, standard wall switch

Power supply: 85 to 265 V, 3C certification

Installation: wall-mounted, fixed wiring

Where to install this wall light?

Designed for outdoor use, Hugel can enhance a facade, frame an entrance door, or add rhythm to a patio wall. Its indirect lighting does not strain the eyes: it highlights the wall's texture and creates a soft atmosphere. The 20 cm version is suitable for smaller surfaces, while the 40 cm version is ideal for larger wall sections.

As a general rule, mount the center of the wall light 1.90 to 2.10 m above the ground outdoors, so that the halo spreads both upwards and downwards.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The body is made of solid aluminum treated against corrosion, allowing it to withstand rain and wind. Both available finishes, black or white, can be cleaned with plain water and a soft cloth.

Bulb and installation

The LED is built-in: no bulb is required. The wiring is fixed and permanent, and installation should be carried out by an electrician to ensure the cable exit point is watertight for outdoor use. The power supply accepts 85 to 265 V and is compatible with the French electrical grid. The intensity is not adjustable.

Frequently asked questions

Can Hugel remain outdoors all year round?

Yes. The manufacturer gives it an IP65 rating, which protects the light fixture against rain and dust, and an anti-corrosion coating on the aluminum. It is designed for continuous exposure to the elements. After rainfall or near the sea, rinsing it with plain water will help preserve the finish.

Which size should I choose: 20 or 40 cm?

The more discreet 20 cm version is suitable for small facades, door frames, and patio walls. The more powerful 40 cm version highlights large wall sections and is visible from a distance. In addition to the size, the LED also differs: 6 to 10 W on the small version, up to 30 W on the large version.

What finishes are available?

Two finishes are available on this page: black and white. Each is available in 20 or 40 cm. Matte black blends into dark facades and creates a sharp shadow during the day; white complements light-colored walls and renders. You can choose your finish when placing your order.

Is the light from Hugel direct?

No, it is indirect. The central LED cylinder projects its beam against the curved back panel, which reflects a soft light onto the wall. This creates a soft wall-washing effect rather than a directed beam. It is designed for ambient lighting and path marking, not as a task light.

Learn more

Compare outdoor models from our wall light catalog:

Cavto, outdoor aluminum wall light

Yaxo, IP65 outdoor wall light

Nosca, dual top and bottom beam wall light

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1050/3949/5499/files/GeneratedImageApril22_2026-8_11PM_1.png?v=1793206969
