The circle is visible from a distance: on a facade wall, a gable end, a boundary wall, or along a walkway, it serves as both a landmark and a light source.

General installation rule: the larger the diameter, the more space you need to step back. The Ø 40 cm is suitable for a passageway wall or a covered corridor; the Ø 60 and 80 cm require an open area and a distance of several meters to be seen in full.

Material, finish, and maintenance

Black-lacquered stainless steel withstands the elements without pitting like ordinary steel. Rinse the ring with clean water once or twice a year to remove dust and rainwater deposits, then dry it. Never immerse the light fixture, even partially.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated: nothing to screw in, nothing to replace, and no socket to provide. The version offered connects to a 110-240 V wired power supply, which requires a standard outdoor electrical supply. It is switched on using a standard push-button switch, not supplied.

Frequently asked questions

What does Sumi's IP 65 rating mean?

The 6 indicates complete protection against dust, while the 5 indicates protection against water jets. In practical terms, the ring can withstand heavy rain and gentle jet cleaning. However, the manufacturer specifies that it should not be immersed: it is not designed for a pool or floodable area.

Which diameter should I choose for a facade?

Measure the width of the wall section. For sections under two meters, the Ø 40 cm remains in proportion. Between two and four meters, the Ø 60 cm is the best choice. For larger sections, or on a gable end viewed from the street, the Ø 80 cm prevents the effect of a small patch lost in the middle of the wall.

What light color is offered?

All three diameters are available with warm light around 3000 K. This golden hue complements light-colored facades, stone, and wood, and remains discreet in the evening without clashing with terrace lighting. As the LED is integrated, the color temperature is fixed at the time of order.

Do I need an electrician to install Sumi?

It is preferable. The offered model is wired and connects to an outdoor line, which must be protected and watertight at the point of exit. The push-button switch is not supplied. A professional will also check the strength of the mounting on a wall exposed to the wind.

Learn more

All our facade solutions are available in our wall light collection.
