The 35 cm version frames an entrance door; the 100 cm version lines a walkway or boundary wall, where its height can be seen from afar.

The model only protrudes 12 cm from the wall, allowing passage through narrow spaces. General installation rule: align the lights at the same height and space them 2 to 3 m apart along a path.

Material, finish, and maintenance

Stainless steel frames a translucent acrylic band, with the entire fixture in black. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive creams, which scratch and cloud the acrylic. Near the sea, regular rinsing limits salt deposits on the steel.

Bulb and installation

The LED is built-in: there is no bulb to replace or socket to provide. The wired version connects to the 110 to 240 V mains and should be installed by an electrician. The solar version operates on 3.2 V direct current and requires no trenching. It is controlled by a wall switch, not included, or a remote dimmer.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the wired or solar version?

The wired version, operating at 110 to 240 V, requires an electrical supply but provides light regardless of the weather. The solar version, operating at 3.2 V direct current, can be installed where no cables are available, along a walkway or on a fence. Its autonomy depends on the previous day's sunlight.

What does the IP65 rating actually protect against?

An IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, including heavy rain. However, the manufacturer specifies that the light should not be immersed: it is therefore not suitable for installation below the water level of a pool or in a flood-prone area. A facade, boundary wall, or walkway remains within its intended use.

Which height should I choose based on use?

The 35 cm version frames a door or gate at eye level. The 70 cm version is suitable for a patio wall and illuminates a table. The 100 cm version lines a walkway or garage entrance, where the column guides the way. All three share the same footprint of 16 by 12 cm.

Can the intensity be adjusted?

The manufacturer states compatibility with a remote dimmer, in addition to control by a wall switch, which is not supplied. It does not specify any particular dimmer model: our customer service team can help you confirm compatibility before ordering.

Learn more

See all weather-resistant models in our wall light catalog.
