A long hallway or both sides of a mirror make excellent use of this effect.

General installation rule: center the 40 cm body at approximately 1.60 m above the floor, and leave at least 40 cm of clear wall above it so the upward halo can spread. In a row along a hallway, a spacing of 2 m creates a regular alternation of bright areas.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The tubes are made of translucent acrylic with a frosted appearance; they should be cleaned with clear water and a soft cloth, never with an alcohol-based product that would cloud them. The ring and body are made of metal, with a copper gold or black finish, and should be wiped dry. The manufacturer states that the frame is treated against corrosion.

Bulb and installation

Nothing to screw in: the LEDs are housed in the acrylic tubes and no socket is visible. The rated flux is 1000 lumens for 5 W. At 400 g, mounting remains simple on a plasterboard partition with suitable wall plugs. The wiring passes behind the base.

Frequently asked questions

What do 1000 lumens provide for a wall light?

This is a high flux for this format, exceeding what a standard decorative bulb offers. Divided between the upper and lower beams, it allows Bratis to serve as the main lighting in a hallway, rather than just an accent light.

Can the integrated LED be replaced?

No, it is part of the light fixture: there is no socket or bulb accessible. This is the trade-off for a diffuser with no visible socket. In practice, an LED module of this type is designed to last several thousand hours; in the event of a failure, contact our customer service.

Which color temperature should I choose?

Warm white is suitable for a living room or bedroom, where a light close to that of a filament bulb is desired. Cool white leans toward blue and will be better suited for functional use. The tri-color version, offered on certain models, allows you to switch between them.

Can Bratis be used in a washroom?

The product sheet states indoor use, with no IP rating. In the absence of this rating, we cannot present it as a model for wet rooms: install it in a living room, bedroom, entryway, or hallway, and choose a fixture explicitly rated waterproof for a bathroom.

To learn more

Discover the other vertical lines in our selection of wall lights.
