The manufacturer describes it as much a decorative motif as a light fixture.

Two finishes are available: shiny gold and rose gold. Above a small desk or in a short hallway, it also works as an ambient night light rather than task lighting.

General installation rule: at approximately 1.30 m above the floor in a child's bedroom, so that the design remains at eye level when seated, and 1.60 m in a reception room. Allow for a flat, unobstructed wall, as the design needs space around it.

Material, finish, and care

The gold lacquer catches reflections and shows fingerprints: a dry microfiber cloth works better than a glass cleaner, which can leave a film on shiny metal. The acrylic diffuser scratches easily, so never use a rough sponge. The rose gold leans towards a powdery pink, while the gold is a pure yellow.

Bulb and installation

There is no bulb to choose: the SMD LED is built-in and supplied with the wall light. It is hardwired to a fixed outlet prepared before installation, and the model requires assembly. The cable length is not adjustable, so the outlet point must be carefully marked.

Frequently asked questions

Gold or rose gold in a child's bedroom?

Rose gold softens the silhouette and complements white, beige, or dusty pink walls. Shiny gold provides a sharper contrast and looks striking on a dark blue or green wall. Both finishes feature the same built-in LED and design: only the color of the lacquered metal differs.

Does the IP20 rating impose any limitations?

IP20 means no protection against water. The wall light is therefore reserved for dry rooms: bedrooms, living rooms, studies, and hallways. Avoid bathrooms and kitchen sink walls, where an IP44 rating or higher would be required. The manufacturer also classifies this model for strictly indoor use.

Can it be used as a night light?

The manufacturer presents this model as a soft, subtle light, making it well suited for use as a night light. As the light is not dimmable, it will remain at the same level throughout the night. A switch accessible from the bed, or a switched socket, remains the simplest way to turn it off without getting up.

Are two wall lights needed to balance a wall?

As the design is asymmetrical, two units installed as a mirror image on either side of a bed or window create a more balanced effect than a single piece on its own. Each wall light therefore requires its own cable outlet, as the length is not adjustable. A single unit is suitable for a narrow section of wall.

Discover more

Other decorative pieces await in our selection of wall lights.
