The manufacturer states that it can also be installed on the ceiling of these spaces.

General installation guidelines: 1.80 m above the floor in a hallway to keep it out of reach, or 1.60 m when mounted on a bedroom wall. When ceiling-mounted, centre the globe over the path to balance the shadows.

Material, finish and maintenance

The crystal breaks up the light into facets and casts small reflections on nearby walls, creating a distinct effect on light-coloured paint. Dust it with a soft brush rather than a cloth, which can snag on the edges. The gold-tone mount can be cleaned dry without products containing ammonia.

Bulb and installation

No screw-in bulb: the light source is an integrated SMD LED, supplied in white or warm light depending on the model ordered. The stated maximum power is 39 W. The light is hardwired with a fixed-output cable, whether wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted.

Frequently asked questions

Does the crystal cast reflections on the walls?

Yes, this is characteristic of a faceted diffuser: the light is broken up and creates small highlights around the light fixture. The effect is distinct on a light, plain wall and more subtle on patterned wallpaper. It is more pronounced with white light, which creates greater contrast than warm light.

Should I choose white or warm light?

Warm light is suitable for bedrooms and residential hallways where a soft evening atmosphere is desired. White light provides brighter illumination and highlights the facets of the crystal. Each model is supplied in a single colour, so you must choose when ordering.

Can it really be installed on the ceiling?

The manufacturer states that it can be installed on the ceilings of hallways and walkways. In this case, the globe becomes a small ceiling light and provides even more uniform illumination. Allow for a ceiling junction box and a bracket capable of supporting the weight of the crystal.

What does a maximum power of 39 W mean?

This is the maximum power consumption stated for the integrated LED module. It is used to size the electrical circuit, not to compare with an incandescent bulb. For LEDs, this value corresponds to comfortable illumination for a standard-sized room or hallway.

For more inspiration

Discover faceted light fixtures in our selection of wall lights.
