The manufacturer describes it as a bedside reading light with an elaborate design, suitable for the living room as well.

The body is made of metal, and the diffuser is made of acrylic. Placed beside the bed, Arisha replaces a bedside lamp and frees up space on the nightstand. In the living room, it is best displayed on its own on a narrow section of wall, where its cut-out design stands out.

General installation rule: for a bedside reading light, position the centre of the wall light between 1.30 and 1.50 m above the floor, slightly forward of the headboard. As the cable is not adjustable, ensure the power supply emerges from the exact location you have chosen.

Material, finish and maintenance

The manufacturer's description highlights jade and copper, while its technical table lists a metal body and an acrylic shade. We have included both descriptions here without choosing between them; our customer service team can confirm the exact composition before you place your order. The manufacturer also notes that the natural pattern is random: two items will not have the same design. Dust with a dry cloth.

Bulb and installation

The bulb is stated as supplied, on an SMD base, for a single light source. The accepted voltage ranges from 110 to 240 V, covering the French domestic mains supply. The connection is wired and assembly takes place during installation; the manufacturer recommends that the installation be carried out by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy an additional bulb?

No, the manufacturer states that the bulb is supplied on an SMD base, with one light source per wall light. It is therefore not a standard screw-in socket: the light source is integrated into the fixture. Our customer service team can provide details on how to replace the light source at the end of its life.

Is this wall light suitable for a bathroom?

The manufacturer states an IP65 rating but restricts use to indoors, which is contradictory. Due to the lack of reliable information on this point, we do not recommend it for areas exposed to water. Reserve it for the bedroom and living room, and contact our customer service team if your project involves a wet room.

Can the cable be shortened or lengthened?

The manufacturer states that the cable is not adjustable. The length supplied is therefore the length you will work with. Plan for the cable to emerge at the mounting plate before installation to avoid tension on the cable or a visible loop along the wall.

Can the intensity be varied?

No. The manufacturer's table explicitly states that the model is non-dimmable and has no smart control. The wall light is switched on and off from the wall switch. If you wish to adjust the atmosphere in a bedroom, plan for a second light source rather than a dimmer, which is not provided here.

For more options

Browse our bedroom wall lights.
