Size B, standing 24 cm tall, works well next to a reading chair. Size E, 23 cm wide, provides more coverage above a chest of drawers or sideboard. Sizes A and D, more compact, fit between a bed and a return wall without cluttering the bedside table.

General installation rule: approximately 1.20 m above the floor over a bedside table, or 1.50 m next to a chair so that the light falls on the pages.

Material, finish and care

Dust the pleated ceramic with a dry cloth or a soft brush, following the pleats. On the gold-finished metal, avoid any abrasive products, which would mark the finish. Clean the lamp when it is switched off.

Bulb and installation

Provide an E26 or E27 LED or filament bulb, not included. The wiring is fixed: the lamp connects to a wall cable outlet. It is switched on from a standard wall switch, not included, with the manufacturer also indicating compatibility with a pull-cord switch.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between sizes A to E?

The five versions share the same pleated white ceramic and differ in proportions: A is Ø 13 x H 18 cm, B is Ø 13 x H 24 cm, C is Ø 16 x H 20 cm, D is Ø 15 x H 18 cm and E is Ø 23 x H 17 cm. B is the tallest, E is the widest and provides the most coverage.

What bulb should I choose for the Wolf wall lamp?

The socket accepts E26 and E27 bulbs, LED or filament. Under a white ceramic shade, a warm white LED from 2700 to 3000 K gives light close to that of an incandescent bulb. The bulb is not included and is chosen according to the desired atmosphere in the room.

Can Wolf be switched on without a wall switch?

The manufacturer states compatibility with standard wall switches and pull-cord switches. The wiring remains fixed in all cases: a wall-mounted electrical supply is required. To find out if the pull cord is included with the lamp, contact our customer service before ordering.

Is ceramic suitable for a bedroom?

Yes, and this is one of its most natural uses. The white ceramic softens the beam and does not get hot like bare metal. Placed in pairs around the bed, approximately 1.20 m above the floor according to the general installation rule, it illuminates the bedside table without dazzling the person lying down.

For more

Compare natural materials in our wall lamp collection.
